What it is and how it works

Sodium hyaluronate and tamarind seed polysaccharide (TSP, a xyloglucan with mucin-like, mucoadhesive properties) act synergistically to increase tear-film viscosity and residence time, lubricating and protecting the ocular surface and supporting epithelial healing.

Indications

Symptomatic relief of dry eye and ocular surface discomfort, including that associated with contact lens wear and after ocular surgery.

Dosage and administration (summary)

1–2 drops into each affected eye as required, commonly three to four times daily.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any component.

Warnings and precautions

Transient blurred vision may occur after instillation. Avoid contaminating the dropper tip. Seek medical review for persistent pain, redness or visual change.

Pregnancy

Considered safe for use in pregnancy.

Storage and supply

Store below 25 °C; use within the period stated after opening.
