What it is and how it works

Active immunisation to prevent COVID-19 in the age groups specified for each product.
Dosage and administration (summary)
Given by intramuscular injection according to the national immunisation protocol and the product’s schedule.
Contraindications
Severe allergic reaction to a previous dose or to any component, including the carrier protein.
Warnings and precautions
Appropriate treatment for anaphylaxis must be available and recipients observed after vaccination. Postpone vaccination in acute severe febrile illness; use with caution in thrombocytopenia or coagulation disorders. Immunosuppressed individuals may have a reduced response.
Pregnancy
Data are limited; use in pregnancy only in line with national guidance after benefit–risk assessment.
