What it is and how it works
Inosine monophosphate (inosinic acid) is a naturally occurring purine nucleotide and the metabolic precursor of adenosine and guanosine monophosphates. In ophthalmic preparations it is intended to support cellular energy metabolism and repair of ocular surface tissues; well-controlled clinical evidence for this use is limited.
